Lenders API is a matching engine for business and consumer loan data. Below are the fields, or combinations of fields, that determine matches between records.
Match Criteria for Businesses
Entity Number
The 9 digit business number assigned by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as a tax identifier, without the program identifier or reference number if copied from a form.
Entity Name or DBA
The entity name or Doing Business As (DBA) name, with or without common abbreviations and suffixes.
Physical Address
The physical address on file for the business.
Match Criteria for Individuals
Social Insurace Number
The 9 digit number that you need to work in Canada or to have access to government programs and benefits.
Passport
The country code, and unique number of a passport travel document issued by Canada or a foreign government.
Drivers License
The country code, state or province code, and unique number of a license to drive a motor vehicle issued by a Canadian province or a foreign state.
Physical Address
The physical address on file for the consumer.
Phone Number
The phone number on file for the consumer.
Email Address
The email address on file for the customer.
OMVIC Registration Certificate
The registration or license number from OMVIC certificate.
